And here is some advice on how to cite your experience in Sri Lanka on your CV:
Volunteer Peer Mentor & Mental Health Activity Support Worker (dates)
Location: Western Province, Sri Lanka
I spent twelve weeks in Sri Lanka working as a Volunteer Peer Mentor and Mental Health Activity Support Worker. Throughout my time as a Volunteer Peer Mentor, I helped support volunteers working in some highly challenging environments, took on administrative duties and assisted the team in Sri Lanka with scheduling tasks. As a Mental Health Activity Support Worker, I worked in a psychiatric facility as well as a rehabilitation centre, running activities with service users at varying stages of their recovery. In addition to this, I taught English to youths whilst role modelling life skills to promote positive mental health and also ran therapeutic activities for at-risk children and individuals with special needs. For the duration of my time in Sri Lanka I lived with a local family and immersed myself in various vibrant, exciting Sri Lankan cultures.
We hope this helps, but please remember you can always get in touch if you need anything else.
Thank you again and best of luck!
