Tell us about your SLV.Global experience: "Going to Bali with SLV.Global was one of the absolute best decisions I have ever made. Being able to participate with such a wide variety of psychology projects and interacting with so many patient populations while in one of the most beautiful places on earth was unbeatable. Not only the work, but working with people from all over the world, living in a homestay with a Balinese family, and having weekends to fully experience the island, I feel like I truly got to make Bali my home. The program was well planned and supported, and gave me an experience I truly believe I wouldn’t be able to get through any other program.”
Tell us what you gained from your SLV.Global Placement: "Not only was this program great psychology experience, but it was great experience in working with different populations, problem solving, working on communication skills, and overall learning to work with people (both peers and participants). Having full control over your lesson planning (and carrying out these lessons) means that you have to use every skill set you have to make it the best it can be. This program helped me grow and learn both as a psychology student, a teacher, a learner, and a human being. I learned something new every single day and broadened my horizons wider than I ever thought possible."
