Refugee Rights Volunteer
Education: Psychology with Law - University of West England, Bristol, UK
SLV.Global Placement: Bali Placement
Current role: "I've started volunteering for Bristol Refugee Rights, where I help provide activities for young refugee children"
Tell us about your SLV.Global experience: "SLV.Bali has been one of the best experiences for me! One of the most valuable things that I have learned is that language is never a barrier when you're trying to improve someone's well-being and simple things such as teaching children the 'cha-cha slide' can be very rewarding and heart warming. I've met so many people with whom I'm still in contact with, and I'm buzzing to progress within my psychology career"
Tell us what you gained from the placement: "I feel so much more confident applying for psychology related jobs now that my skill set has enhanced."
