Current Role: 'I worked for six months on an Acute Mental Illness ward, at the Priory hospital and currently I am a support worker at an Autistic Hospital. I have been offered a place on a Masters course in Cognitive Behavioral Psychology this September, at Salford University.'

Tell us about your SLV.Global experience: 'My SLV experience began in April 2014, I had an incredible time in Sri Lanka. The different work placements absolutely made the trip for me.'

Tell us what you gained from your placement: 'Currently I am working with Autistic patients who are unable to talk, and I communicate through other means, I have learnt this skill from SLV as we had to communicate with people who did not speak the same language.'
