Your whole first week is dedicated to training and to making sure you're as prepared as possible to work sensitively and effectively in a new culture.
+ Where do volunteers live?
You'll reside in homestay accommodation where you'll live with other volunteers in a local Balinese village and in a family compound. This is your chance to get fully immersed in an exciting new culture.
+ Is fundraising recommended to help cover placement fees?
Absolutely! Most of our volunteers choose to fundraise or get some help from their universities to cover their placement fees. Check out our blog for more info and advice.
